Private Lakeside Sauna Experience in Savonlinna
Experience the heat of a traditional Finnish lakeside sauna in a beautiful, private and peaceful setting—just 10 minutes (7 km) from the Savonlinna Market Square. Take a refreshing dip in Lake Saimaa from the pier or walk in from the sandy beach and enjoy your evening in the adjacent kota-style outdoor kitchen, complete with a fireplace and openable glass walls.
The sauna is a traditional wood-heated sauna, pre-heated by your host family. Water is heated in a cauldron, and you’ll mix your own wash water in basins. The sauna building includes a cozy lounge area and a small separate dressing room. The entire lakeside area is a charming, relaxing environment—perfect for unwinding in both body and mind.

Starting time is negotiable. Please bring your own towels, swimwear, and toiletries.

As the sauna is privately owned, you will receive the exact address upon booking. Available on Mondays and Fridays. Ideally, bookings should be made at least one week in advance, but we can also check availability on shorter notice.
