Welcome to the first-ever Savonlinna Sauna Festival in the city center!
We will be celebrating the Finnish sauna at the beautiful museum island of Riihisaari, next to Olavinlinna, on the third weekend of August, August 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The festival program includes sauna sessions in various mobile saunas, insights into modern Finnish sauna culture, sauna products, and other entertaining activities. The festival schedule will be updated later.

Around ten different saunas will be at the festival: you will experience the steam in sauna trailers, tents, and other unique settings. We will sauna in swimsuits. There are several swimming spots within the festival area where you can cool off in the refreshing waters of Lake Saimaa.
Your ticket includes an access to the festival area, to all saunas, and the program.
Children under 15 free of charge, accompanied by parents.
Members of the Riihisaari Sauna Association (Riihisaaren saunaseura ry) can purchase festival tickets at a discounted price; book your ticket directly through the association.
